went on a walk today to find some logs for a barn owl taxidermy commission. it was SO GOOD to see some signs of spring, seriously im starting to feel like england has been going through some game of thrones style epic winter. i dont ever remember a winter this long and cold. there was even some bishey barnabee’s (norfolk for ladybirds) being all cute and shiny and not dead (๑′ᴗ’๑)

had a good perv over some moss and root structures and found some fungi corpses that had kind of dried up and calcified. the best was one that looked like giant blood blisters emerging out of a fallen trunk. i poked it expecting it to ooze and swallow my finger but it was rock solid. i want to go back and shiv them off to take home with me n_n
